Just speaking to mate of mine who won the nsw rally champ back in 1991 in ae86 (.Paul kennedy)
Turns out some guy has restored it to its former glory and wants him to go for spin in it at the muscle car masters.
It will be at the toyota stand as far as i no,call in have a talk to him as this was one quick car in its day.
This was before the 86 was even popular , the word drift meant a bit of wood on the beach.

The Toyota marquee will be on the concrete skid pan at the back of the paddock, near turn 4. All three TTA AE86s will be on display and my ex-Bob Holden AE86 will be competing in the Group A races. There will be more than a dozen Group C & Group A Toyotas on display.

Not sure what colour it is now but it use to toyota red and white.It was a ex bell car ,had a qaife dog box and the
motor had forged every think apparertly put together in germany.
Dont no if its still got all the good bits in it or not.
if its the car im thinking of it still had the CAMS/GRP A cage in it, had a new motor built for it, and was nearing completion sometime last year...
i only saw some ordinary photos of it, but it did have the log books and matching numbers
