Got some Ma61's, cleaned one up today. Thinking whether I shall paint the back of them black or whole things black. Took me way too long though! Also photo of the pod filter with the dodgy bracket I made up to get a rwc. Does have a front bar, just was off when the photos were taken to fit it on the trailer.

    Plans:
    Ma61's with 186/60's
Ma61 drivers seat should be fitted this weekend.
T series + lsd when cash permits.

Further down the track I wouldn't mind building a 7age, getting some coilovers and some 15x7 or 8's with low offset.

Edit: Uploaded the wrong photo of the pod bracket.

go red/black panda bars, kouki front bar and zenki lip and you get instant win.

looks like a good base though, and if at any point you think... "fuck me this thing is a money pit", your on the right track like the rest of us

Yeah been thinking black bars since the day I got it. Google kouki bar with zenki lip, looks the goods! After I get my diff this will have to be next on the list. Also need to remove the blue tint as its bubble/peeling and just generally don't like it. Maybe get it retinted black, black bars and paint the inside of the ma61's black to give them better definition.Click image for larger version.

Kouki rear bars have 2 lines, Japanese ones have no number plate lights but the Europe ones do. So you can either get a seat of white or red line tail lights with the centre garnish and cut holes for the number plate lights in the body or get a kouki rear bar from the Irish sponsor on here that has the cut outs.

    Or not.

I say keep it zenki but paint the bars black. Oh and grab a zenki lip if you can get one for the right price.

Yeah definately keep the zenki rear bar. I would like a kouki front bar, but proabably just keep the one I got and paint them both black.

Everyone goes kouki front, I think zenki looks good, especially with the lip. Look at all the group a 86's, I think they look awesome!
