i have a aasa clubman race licence how do i get a cams licence?
Hi All,
12th and 13th November 2011 is the 14th annual running of Historic Noosa Hill Climb "The Hill". Held at the picturesque Gyndier Drive, Tewantin, off the Noosa to Cooroy Road.
I will be competing in the 1600cc road registered class.
Open invite to all those with a CAMS licence/Club membership to come along and compete, would be awesome to have a fellow 86er to enjoy the competition with!!
Or, just keen to see an 86 take on the Hill? come and spectate!!
This is a closed 1.5km course w. 14 corners... you do the math - its a technical course and makes for a very interesting hill climb event..!
if anyone does make it, make sure you come say hi, ill be driving a black/silver ae86 levin.
Cheers,
Matt

Hey,
Laurence,
Cams licencing is easy it just costs money... motorsport tends to be that way though;
1. Join a cams affiliated club (i am a member of BSCC - Brisbane sporting car club).
2. Fill in the forms from the CAMS website and post away.
3. crack a brew and pat yourself on the back, you are now licenced and can compete in a multitude of events far beyond our beloved QR.
Ry,
Good to hear mate, looking forward to meeting you there! Even if not competing it really is an awesome spectators day with full access to the pits/paddock, very well facilitated and some amazing cars compete.
Cheers,
Matt.
Is anyone else entering this.....
hey yall heres footage from the race!
i got a 69.51 seconds..
