It now has the brakes all sorted, tail shaft has been made and ready to pick up. Well finally Iv spent some time on this thing and almost got it finished... the list of things to get finished is now a lot shorter...got to pick up a pair of harnesses...get a handcontroller for the microtech...wire up some headlights and tail lights and then its complete...
Took it for a few laps of the street, and goes pretty good, its got plenty of punch.....

fuarrk thats sick!
lovin' that trailer too
Finally took it to the track, took it to Archy to give it a test on sunday, first lap discovered the handbrake didnt work.....so second lap used a whole lot of weight transfer and threw it into the corners which worked alot better, the handbrake had enough bite to grab if I did this. It slid the second lap easily, was quiet suprised, but at the second lap I had oil coming through a hole in the firewall....lol. Turns out the oil drain fitting in the back corner or the rocker cover had fell out....it was my fault as I had spun it around to block it off and never tapped it back in tight, its just a tapered fit. So that was enough to stop me for the day as the fitting was lost on track somewhere. But for its first run its looking to be a good package...
Here some pics....
Looks great ! I took mine for its first drive on the weekend too it feels like its going to be so much fun to drive !
Im yet to attend to body work and have some serious guard work to do all round.
