Clean white slanty looks good!
Took this thing to rad times and had a rad time.... I managed to murder the poor CA though after a couple of hours, just the usual blown headgasket.
It was running sweet for the first half hour or so then at some point started freeboosting, which took me a while to catch on to, a passing glance at the hand controller showed it was running 35psi which explained the missfire under load, then I cooked the poor thing, didnt notice that the thermos circuit breaker had popped which led to it sounding like a boiling kettle....so combine both of those things and the fact that it only had a tune on the ecu up to 10psi and its fair to say it was murdered...
Looking forward to throwing the head back on with a pair of 272deg cams and gears iv got for it and a tune at around the 1 bar mark....
Getting the head skimmed this weekend so should be running again by saturday night....
It felt great to steer and felt suprisingly good on the handling side of things...
