Yes you can very easily put 185s on a 7" rim but it wont really have the stretch look.
Hi,
I'm a complete noob when it comes to rims!
I just picked up some 14 x 7 rims.
I have some 185 60 14 tyres and want to know if it is possible stretch them onto these rims?
If not what would be a good size tyre to run?
Yes you can very easily put 185s on a 7" rim but it wont really have the stretch look.
there's no point trying to streatch any sort of tyre onto a 7, run the tyres you have, when you can afford it buy something 8j+ and use the same width tyre
185/60 on 7J is easy, basic fitment by the book. square shouldered
185/60 on 14 7j volk mesh, Tread sits in the guard, lip of rim sits out
ive had 165 on my skid rims no problems, gives it a stretched look and wasnt hard to get on
do not do this
i have 185's on a 9 i dont see it being a problem at all
yeah wouldnt recommend it but when you get them for free???
Thanks for the picture Jdm-Mcc
They're just what I have sitting around, and after seeing that I think I will use them!
