Might pull the motor out on the weekend and start making up some engine mounts for the ca..

    Update-

    Goodbye 2s

Motor is out, took this photo and realised I have now removed all the Toyota driveline.. Shiiiiiit.

Head is back from the shop, decked and bead blasted. I've also since lapped the valves back in.

That's it for now until the head goes back on and I get a panhard rod.

    Fuck.. It's been a while.

Got a fair bit of stuff done over the last few weeks, motor and box are in for the last time with the mounts all finished off.

In tank lift pump is in, Surge tank and vl pump are mounted with hoses hooked up, s13 fuel lines also in.

Heater hoses are almost finished off and braided turbo lines are in and a few other bits and pieces.

Just need a front mount so I can start making some brackets for intercooler and radiator

Then wiring and a tailshaft, so close too skids
    Anyway here's a few pics

Hey bro looks good but get rid of that plastic inline filter that's meant for carny cars that use really low psi pumps they are no good on injection

Cheers man, it's on the low pressure side (feed from the tank) but it's only temporary.. I've got a proper filter here somewhere just not sure what I did with it

them solid engine mounts looks like a good idea, but will it rip itself off the crossmember?? just asking because using solid engine mounts for a 4age is already over kill for a AE86...just sayin'

I hope not! The crossmember is fairly structural.. Have you seen it happen before?..
I only did it that way because it was so much easier and I found I could mount the motor lower, I did think of maybe cutting up one of those thin plastic chopping boards and sticking that in there..

Edit: forgot to mention the old rubber mounts were flogged out
