Yeah, it's just a good community of car people we've got down here I spose, don't know what I would do without them.
Pinion angle change has transformed the car, no tramp and just lays the rubber down!
Clutch is now three parts shagged, so I have a big arse custom NPC jobbie and and matching chromoly fly to go in before round 1.
Highlight of the day was getting given a set of half worn tyres that where unbeknown to me coloured smokers.
Did put a smile on my face when I looked in the rear vision mirror to see clouds of blue purple smoke out the back!
Was also good to be back at Baskerville, such a fun track, shits on Symmons IMO for driver enjoyment rating.

Did a clutch change last week, now has a custom NPC jobbie, based on a modified Exedy 7mgte pressure (I think?) plate and a 5 button sprung centre.
Much larger than the one I had in there, it only contacted about 75% of the flywheel face, this one engages the whole face.
Had to have the bolt holes on the fly redrilled and tapped as they are offset different but the dowels where spot on.
Also discovered why the clutch had prematurely shit itself. The master cylinder was holding residual pressure and not letting the slave return, basically like driving around with your foot resting on the pedal all the time
Gots a bit hot...
Threw a new master in and all was sweet...until a coolant puddle appeared under the car the next day, appears that when dropping the engine down and tilting it back on the engine crossmember to get the box in and out I had crushed a heater hose clamp at the rear of the head.
This was the only way I could get to it...ffffaaaaarrrr
Bit of a job as the loom had to be stripped basically completely from the other side of the engine and then there was not enough room to slide the manifold of the studs, so had to remove those in place etc etc, another late night on a weekday before an event but got it done.
Made it out to RD1 of the Tassie drift series that Saturday, 54 ENTRIES!!!
Qualified 27, nearly made it through the first battle but tipped it in a bit late on the last corner and went a bit deep putting the wheels on the turf on the way out.
All good still looking for some more consistency, but the car loved it
