Got engine back into bay finally.
Nothing hooked up as yet though.
No doughnuts for me, back onto house Reno's. Took me 3 hours to get re001s on the watas yesterday.... Didn't have the right tools for the job, and yeah tried the flame trick, worked the first time but then contracted and beads popped back off the rim.
Long story short they are on now and feel good.

I had a drive of my uncles old race car that was a KE55 with a 2TG and loved it, would be even better with a 4age. Let me know if you want any tips in getting the rear end setup to grip.
Will do man but aiming to set it more to the drifting side hahastreet track sorta thing.

A couple of things would probably help with that also to be honest, make some traction bars that go from the front pivot of the leaf spring and bolt to the bottom of the diff housing where it mounts to the leaf with rose joints either end, stops the leaves tramping.
On another note, god I love seeing HSV's dissappear in the rear view mirror through the hills.
Thanks for the tip man, got to try this and see how I go![]()
Haha that would be a awesome feeling

Received my whitelines and houki parkers in the mail today. Stoked. They are a bit faded so i'll restore them before fitting. Not looking forward to drilling the number plate lights. Anyone have a kouki rear bar for sale?
