Eh everyone I saw getting fines were kinda asking for it, massive wheels and stupid camber does not make an understanding policeman.

Got the feeling im up for a new clutch shortly. Going to lighten a spare 200mm flywheel I have. Bill sherwood says you can machine it down to 4.7kg's and is still safe for road use.
Anybody else here running a lightened stock flywheel? Im aware of the risks but I wont be taking that much off to really affect its structual integrity.

Finally got tachometer working after swap in adm ae86 to aftermarket computer.
Ended up using circuit from an ae82 twincam and motor from the ae86 tacho, plus a regular no coil relay in the circuit to powered 12v.
7750 rpm 20 psi, happy days with tachometer finally working after 18 months

Picked up a nardi classic, fitted with a ksev bosskit though unfortunately, sits too close to the indicator stalk on a ae86, will turn up a spacer on monday at work.

Ah the bitter sweet of sourcing a BT20v flywheel then after taking off my gearbox finding a either 3.7 or 4.1kg steel flywheel.......big thanks to james and chris for your help. No way I could've done it myself

You would have been fine, just would have taken longer haha. Lucky I had a spare 200mm H/D clutch at home in my parts stash! Let me know what you think of it too.

Clutch is awesome, painted center console gear stick surround. Next up radio surrounding, freshening up black interior bits.
Grille is fading a bit, anyone recommend a good black paint for the grille? Probably satin black or should it be gloss?

The grilles were originally gloss black, but look good in satin if you match the black plastic around the lights too.

Went to fit a set of headers I've been fixing up, got down to the last two bolts where they join to the cat and the nuts are totally round. Didn't fancy crawling under the car on stands with an angle grinder right next to my face to cut them off, so put it all back together till I can get the car on a hoist. Also realised the insides of the cat are rattling around so might be time for a new one.
