but bad things normally just mean i can go bigger better and do it properly!
as for a shell i started hunting and what i found is a beaut...
now dont go all getting jelly cos if you hunt you will find
so now for a few little specs on the car
1982 KE70..
4KC motor
automatic trans
working air conditioner and boi does it work
(now for a killer little bit of info)
this car only has 118,500 kms on the clock (im making myself jelly just writing the start of this thread)
all original owners hand manuals and service information. original purchase papers included
mint condition VYNL seats perfect carpet with no stains!!!!
original spare wheel.. looks like the rim has rusted itself in haha and original carpet to cover the boot floor
the only negative points on this car are the small dents here and there from usual wear and tear of a vehicle this age! and the rust spots in the common points (bottom of rear guards bottom of fuel door and the tiniest little spot under the boot lid) and a few little scarpes.. easy enough fixed with the right knowlege and patience
so future plans are to strip the motor and engine bay pull the 4AGTE out of my old car and clean it up and put her in the new beast.. so this mean converting it to manual with as little as firewall destruction as possible.. setting up fuel systems
upgrade to RX7 front brakes and coilovers on the front.. i dont want to lower too much as i dont want to draw unnesscary attention to myself!!
this will also mean making a custom exhaust with a flow control type device (not to sure what to call it) but basically so i can have the exhaust run through a slighty standard system with only a small note but then when i flick the switch it will block this route diverting it though a side pipe giving a nice loud note!!
will also have to upgrade the diff from standard.. no i dont want to just weld.. as much fun as locked diffs are they can getting annoying for daily use.. there for i want a nice tight LSD either an R31 upgrade with VS caliper brakes or just go for a t series??

now seeing as im not in the mood to go make an image shack profile or what ever it is.. photobucket??

Haha of course you can.. I only paid a mere $1,500 and there is a shit load of KE's out there going for more in a hell of a lot worse condition!!
Yeah there is definitely something to be said about slant fronts.. But deep down I've always wanted the flat front! not sure if I want to change it to quads at the front or leave it how it is

Hahaha yeah I got $1500 for my old white slant front and that was in way worse condition then this one

so no real updates on this been running nicely until the last few days in the hot weather and driving any forther then work she starts missing abit and couching and spluttering.. not to concerned just been driving dads torana around the last day or two.. but registration runs out friday and will get my calais finished this weekend so the new corolla will take centre stage in the carport and slowly start stripping it!!!
get my next tool bonus in the next few weeks so will get an engine crane and a few other tools i need for the job!!
