    Default importing of an ae86

i have searched far and wide on this site and others, and most of the information i've seen is quite dated.

so i hope this is ok to post a thread, for a bit more recent information.

basically, i just have a few questions for those in the know, about importing an ae86:

1: what price would i be looking at for a clean, fairly stock (or lightly modified) ae86 (preferably a trueno)
2: who would be the best person/company to use (i live in sydney, nsw). at the moment i'm looking at going through j-spec, but i'm open to other reputable owners.

thanks in advance for the input, and i hope this is in the right part of the forum.

try import monster, ive always heard good things about them ! if not man theres lots of import places that will find the car for you.

For a trueno, your looking at between 10-15 thousand delivered and complied, but that depending on the exchange rate so on.... for just a normal sprinter could be anything really depends on what you find!

9-15k for a nice car, depending on your patience / how picky you are. Trueno's on the whole are more expensive, but this is a generalisation and not always the case. Coupe's/Notchback's are rarer, but usually don't cost more compared to an equivalent hatchback.

I can't suggest anyone, as i buy my own cars, but j-spec has a fairly decent (good) reputation

yeah, pm already sent. looks like a fairly decent example.

i'm not in town at the moment, but i'll be calling ben from j-spec when i get back just to see what's what!
