JZX100 For sure Keep the toyota blood & reliability
hey fellas ive decided its time to get a new car i want something fairly late model (2000ish) that i can have a bit of fun in, for approx. $20,000 its gonna be my daily so i want it to be fairly reliable. im gonna be doing about 80 km a day half is twisty stuff and half is bumper to bumper traffic so i want it to be nice inside. heres my options
fd - ive always wanted one and this is what i want the most, only problem is i dont think theyre very reliable plus there not good on fuel
s15 - light, quick, reliable, everyone ive talked to has said this is my best option
r34 gt-t - i like the idea of this but dunno how theyd handle
jzx100 - dunno how these would do through the twistys but they do look pimpin
so basically im just wanting any ideas on what youd choose, plus if youve ever owned one of these let me know how they went. any other cars i havent thought of let me know
thanks
kiall
JZX100 For sure Keep the toyota blood & reliability
I'd have to say the S15 would be my pick of that bunch, great nimble cars, but are done to death, they're everywhere.
I had a company car that was an RX8 and it was great, power nice, but reliability is up to the dogs, shame.
The resale on the R34 would be shit house too.
i had a look at the rx8 and thought if im gonna have the reliability of a rotor i may as well get one with a couple of turbos in an fd
i agree with you 100% about the s15 , the only reason im hesatating about getting one is because too many fagboys own them
JZX100 for brains, FD for heart.
i'd go the chaser.

how do the chasers handle? has anyone had one/driven one?
70XIN had his chaser up for sale for 17k I think. Chaser would be my pick, 4 doors and slap a Camry badge on it and the cops will not look twice
stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?
JZX100 or Evo 6.
Mmm, evo...

My mate has a chaser he switched from a GC8 WRX to a manual JZX100 with a slipping clutch and no mods and he says it still feels great and looks a treat, its a TRD chaser
Best value for money and works as a family car to
About putting a camry/corolla badge on it... buy a aristo cops wont looks once lol (shame there only auto)
chaser or evo
unless they are both visually completely stock (height and rims) then cops will look at them
if you want to look at some good manual chasers pm me, my mate has 4 for sale (business)
