1980 t130 18r manual conversion question
does anyone know what pedal boxes/gearboxes i can use?
Oh hi. This is my area of expertise.
The answer is pretty damn obvious though. Go get yourself a pedalbox from a manual xT13x and bolt the sucker in. XT130 (early and late), RT132 and RT133 will all work. Use a clutch master for an RT132 / RT133.
Gearbox is also bleeding obvious. Use the gearbox that is behind an R motor from the factory. 18R used a W50 (aka celica steelcase 5spd), these are fucking everywhere and usually quite cheap. head over to toymods.org and you can easily get one for less than $150.
Combine these two with an RT132 clutch hardline and you've got a bloody bolt in job. RT132 tailshaft and diff to round out the powertrain.
