Impressed, what box did you go with?
You've been busy Matt, looks good.
Thanks Tim, I was able to set up the 6 rib belt with the standard tensioner and no extra pulleys, so now I need to find a chamber for an airbox. Thinking Reverie Zolder Macau Carbon box from Europe, but its looking like costing close to $700 by the time its shipped here, its perfect though.
I have dropped off the oil pickup to be extended by Zenith engineering in Milton. Having it done with mild steel mandrel pipe. Hopefully get it this week aswell.
Then I guess I can look at the cooling system. Im starting to consider making the outlet pipe from behind the head run under the inlet with an external pipe, as there is a tonne of room and the exhaust side will already have the in pipe. The I can use an easier to find radiator with one left and one right outlet. I have only found about 3 radiators with left hand only inlets/outlets. Most are either right hand or one left and one right.
Then once I know the mechanical package can be fitted in, I will look at reworking my F series diff to have ae86 mounts and disc brakes, most likely from a corona I guess. The Ill need the tailshaft made.
I guess I need to sell a couple of lips so I can afford to do the diff mod and tailshaft and buy an airbox.
Got my trumpets in the mail.
Sam Q did a great job attaching them to the baseplates.
got an ETA on this beast Matt?

BENT MECHANIX - Garage 20:
Guess I need to put it into the chassis and investigate the tailshaft situation.
Still a lot to do:
Tailshaft
Modify the diff for the chassis
buy lsd for it
redo the brakes on it.
fit the pistons, mod the good block like the dummy block, cut away for the starter, tap some holes.
collect and fit my custom coolant and oil pickup lines. Fit them up.
wire it
buy the ecu
work out the best mapping for the vvti and tune it
its gonna be great when its finished
