Great conversion, sounds like its going to be a beast! im doing a similar conversion with a 3RZ :
Next thing is having extractors made and the inlet welded up.
Then Its oil pickup extension and then sort the belt arrangement.
Then wires and a tune I guess.
Ive got 11:1 Carillo pistons coming over from the states for it too, they were a custom order in std bore. Caermic and low friction coated too.

Looks like a beast of a build.
I just got my Carillo slugs in the post.
Ceramic tops, black low friction sides and 11:1 CR in std bore. Was a custom order so had to wait 3 weeks for fabrication but they shipped here in under a week once sent, Brian Crower are great to deal with. Porn parts.
any updates?

BENT MECHANIX - Garage 20:
Not since I got the pistons.
I need to step up my efforts again, now that holidays are over and work is a little slower.
Ok Just finished inlet fab, and that will be welded up this week. Also, I have designed the oil pickup extension and will organise that tomorrow.
Then I need to make the 6 rib belts work. Then headers, loom and ecu.
Then I need to mod my F diff and fit that with a most likely custom driveshaft.
Manifold is welded up.
loving this conversion , nice job on the manifold, must be happy with that.
when's mass production start?
I dont know about mass production.
I'm just happy to do it and do it my way, the way I see it in my head. I'm happy to just take the time to do things really nicely. Im not hung up on being the first to do it.
Some guy at one point came along and wanted to put a 2azfe into a ke55 track car and was mating it to a T5 and wanted to keep asking me questions even though he didnt relate his setup to mine at all. he kinda glossed over all the hard parts and said it was too easy, got to the point where he had to mate a motor an box together and was never heard from again. Its about as much difficulty as any conversion that needs work to a sump, mounts, manifolds made, except it is also hard to mate to a rwd tranny.
