Default 3sg beams cams thread - opinions, experiences etc

    There isnt many options...

What are people running/going to run?

I want a nice midrange cam (still want limiter at 8-8100), that retains vvti

I am aware of the toda options, but anything else people have used?

I know motorfix use mild hks ones in their maroon car...

bigger throttles will give you a bigger torque and more hp right over the rev range like 48mm much better than 45
if you are going to do cams ,will need better springs and better valves most likely do the head at the same time .port job etc and cams can clear if you go bigger lift or duration
as you go up in lift and duration your static comp drops ,so you will need a higher comp set of slugs say 13.5 to 1 with deeper valve releifs
the biggest increase would be quads, 2 stage injection and a decent set of pipes that would be around 15 to 20 kws just in that
a cam with a little bit more duration maybe 5 kws with head job maybe 15

i havnt got cams that retain 3 teeth of movement all of my cams have only 1.5 teeth of movement and the cam controllers have to be modified to stop the movement past this
and im not to sure on the std pistons if they will have enough piston to valve clearence with my cams ,most of my fly cuts in my pistons are between 6 to 8mm deep

my pipes wont fi,t even made the same as altezza but wont work with corollas or sprinters looking from clays car
bolt ons will give you more in the long run but pipes will help ,if your ecu can control 8 injectors that will give you 10 kws
