CAR STOLEN, BAYSWATER AREA, 2hrs ago...PLEASE HELP

My housemates car was stolen 2 hours ago in the BAYSWATER AREA.

ITS A DARK BLUE SUBARU IMPREZA WRX
STANDARD WRX KIT
DARK GREY ROTA 17'' ALLOYS

VEHICLE REG IS ICBP793

cops found it in leederville....short pursuit, 2 arrested, minor damage. Just glad to have it back

Question is how did they steal something like that? Did they have the keys for it?

oh sorry....yea they broke into the house while my mate was asleep, crept into her bedroom and lifted the keys, as soon as the car started she woke up but they were gone.

this is starting to be pretty common in perth lately! they tried to get my fc a few weeks back. my dogs ripped them a new one, haha! cops wouldn't do anything about it, wasn't worth the hassle, they said!!

I thought most wrx's had 4 pin security code to be put into a key pad near the handbrake before the ecu will allow the engine to start.
Glad to hear your mate got it back so quick.
