Or part it out
It seems a lot less ae86s are for sale these days, so asking prices have risen quite a bit. I doubt they are selling for what people are asking though, so you will probably get what has already been said here sadly..
Or part it out
MOPAR or no car!
Yeah, definitely going to part it out. It's mostly in parts now anyway so that'd be easiest. Chassis is in really awesome condition, no rust at all. Will have to begin cataloging and taking pictures of everything...
The Phoenix; In the build since 10/06!

Where will it stop? Will it ever be finished? How will it go? Why am I not wearing any pants?
Sorry for pushing the point of keeping it haha, but surely with all the effort taken in parting it and dealing with twats it could be finished
I parted mine out pretty quickly and made back alot more than what I could have if I sold it complete. I just wanted until my she'll was sold and then the rest went shortly after
stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?
Since your not selling a complete car, you are selling a lot of work that needs to be done to complete your own vision of what an ae86 would be, then you will see vastly more parting it out, but it depends what you are really able to do with it. Its foolish to do anything other than part it if possible, because you ight be able to raise a lot more parting it out. You never get your money back, especially on modified adm cars, the jdms are picking up, barely able to find a driveable one ex Japan for under 20k before freight these days. The adms have gone for around 9000 from what Ive seen for a tidy stock one. This car however, as cool as the result of the work would be, would need to be finished off, parhaps painted and thoroughly checked tuned and sorted, so its still 10k shy of completion with the way todays prices are for whatevers missing or broken.
If you have any time to do it, pull out each mod and reco as much as you can. Clean, Paint and fix stuff and sell for the best amount possible. That will minimise the losses and maximise the return. People love to buy the full kit of bits to do a mod, so put somepackages together and make it easy for the people. You will also minimise the work of parting by reducing the number of interactions required to sell it all.
