Nah I didnt, tried to check them aswell as I could by just shining a torch done there, but they seemed fine and it still runs fine.
I just replaced mine last weekend in my corona. If the valve cover is off u should be able to see the guide on the right side as it comes up pretty high to the top sprocket. It will break just a matter of time. New kits off eBay are cheap. Might see u out drift prac one day keen to get my corona out there soon. Cheers Sam

Yeah I just wanted to get the head re-done as quick and cheap as possible being my daily, but if this engine goes I would probably just build up another 22r as new parts are just so cheap and readily availiable.
Wont be making it out to drift days anytime soon but hopefully will be doing some motorkana this year!
