I gave this plate to a an instistant friend so now I use the same as what I sell which is like this:

If you use these coilpacks in an ae71, you will find that your tacho wont work.

It can be fixed by doing this mod to the tacho board.

Im sure its similar, i guess I could take the 86 cluster I have apart and see what the board looks like.

I think I read somewhere that the ae86 has a similar resistor to swap, although from the photo I found on the interwebs, its in a bit different spot. I just used the values I knew from the info posted on club 4ag and compared to the resistor values as tested on the ae71 board. I swapped the capacitor and did a few experiments trying to get the right resistors in the right places. Its similar in that you only swap the one resistor I guess, its just doing the right one. I hope everyone does the 1 hour of work and does this mod if they have a dead dial in the dash, its working great. im gonna go shoot a video of it so you can see exactly how good it works.
