From memory that is usually O2 sensor, but I could be wrong.
EDIT: Looks like i might be right
Hey everyone!
I have recently fitted a switch for diagnostic mode to make it easier to check any problems when I start the car. A n a l I know...
Anywho, it has thrown up an odd code, 5 blinks, a 4.5second break then another 5 blinks. I can only work it out to be 5 because the 4.5second space indicates the end of the code before it repeats it.
There is no code 5!
Anyone have an idea? I am going to reset it tomorrow morning and see if it disappears. I also find it odd that the Toyota manual skips 5; 4 straight to 6.
From memory that is usually O2 sensor, but I could be wrong.

I know from my old ecus there was a difference in the codes thrown for the same error. Some ecu's throw single digit codes and others throw 2 digit codes, why? i dunno but it happened.
But if i had to guess id say Jap ecu's throw double digit codes and aus ecu's throw single and i couldn't tell you why.
Ah ok, probably makes sense to be o2 sensor, should have googled...
