Lol nice collection, but i have to say They aren't dogs that need saving from the pound...
It does feel that way sometimes though hey, but it is good to see someone fixing them up rather than pulling them apart and crushing them
My collection of][/SIZE] 4 x AE86 Sprinters & 1 x KE15 SPRINTER, 1 X Celica TA22
Number 1 -- My Track/Hillclimb car 4AGE 16V n/a 105kwrw Winner the last 3 years under 1600cc type 3 championship ACT Hillclimb series .
Saving rubber again !!!
Wakfield track day
She gets a bit drifty at times , bad for good times --- but so much fun !!!!
Number 2 Built for my son as a roadie .
Had a bit of rust , converted engine to 4AGE , Suspension , respray etc etc
Now regoed and in use as a daily --- he loves it.
Number 3 The spare body shell -- in case I stuff up big time.
As I bought it , only surface rust , nice staight shell ( you don't see many these days )
Ethed , primed and put into storage for now
Number 4 Spare parts car -- lots of rust , ex drift car? -- didn't have the heart to send to crushes ,so in a 12 day building frenzy became a Dirt Khanacross car . Put in a fresh 4ac , welded dif , cheap 2nd hand suspension , full rollcage and away we go .
The day we bought her back from SYD.
Cut out the worst of the rust , fitted a fresh 4AC , fitted a locked S-series rear end
Here is the DRIFT PIG in action ---- so much fun !!!!!!!!!!!
SOLD TO Matt ---- Hope you have as much fun with as I did
Number 5 The present project ---- turn this into a nice weekend driver ---- 4age ( std , 4gze block ) disc rear with 4.3 LSD , nice street suspention , a/c , refurb interior , classic 14" 80's wheels etc etc
The story so far.
Number 6 EX Rally school car ---SOLD
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH IT ??????????????
Not sure yet , but she still has good life left in her as a dirt race car , needs bit of TLC and an engine transplant ( found a healthy small port 4age with loom ,ECU and all plug ins very cheap while in Melb , so that may go in with a locked t series rear. Plenty of time to puzzle on what to do .
