Finally got the car home yesterday. Trucking company in Sydney flattened the battery and flooded it, and called me saying they couldn't put in on the truck to Canberra. Good one fellas!!!!!!
So I went up early with Bob (Airocobra) with his trailer to pick it up. Worked out well, was good to finally meet Matt, who came to give us a hand if we needed to push the car. (I have a bad back).

Anyway, had a short squirt to the end of the street and back, very happy to find how fuggin easy the rears light up! The motor is stock at the moment, so once I get a power FC, fit some 550 injectors and have it tuned, it's gonna be mad.......

I have only had the car a few days now, and have had a good chance to look over the car. I haven't checked out underneath yet as someone has borrowed my jack

Anyway, the car needs lots of the little things done before I can get it engineered and registered.

Nothing serious, but so far, I have -
Bolted in the tailights and centrepiece (only had one nut holding each tail light on, and none on the centrepiece)
Adjusted FPR. Was set way too low, only 28psi. (I set it to specified 43psi)
Re-cond some windscreen wipers I had and got new blades (car had no wipers)
Re-cond a side mirror (came with a broken mirror)
Bolted up sideskirts (Looks tough!)
Added passenger parker loom and globes



Bad:
LSD is old/worn/shit
Fake DEFI boost guage is faulty
Harnesses are horrible (Either OMP is crap, or it's a FAKE OMP. Prob just a fake) -
The seats are horrible (Brand new, but some unknown brand. You sit so high my head is almost touching the roof!) -

Thats pretty cool... not my choice of music, but definately a great history of the build to have and keep...

Yeah Matt, It's not what I would do as a street car, but I bought it as a drift/race car and it's perfect for that.
I will only be starting to change things after it has rego. Till then, just doing all the little boring things getting it neat and tidy....

The seats are rubbish just jap seats.
Expect no more then that really, rubbish.

and guess what... im pretty sure those are adr approved.. i wonder who got slipped a few grand to pass them..
