I will be racing my new SR20DET AE86 this event. Very keen to see how it goes on this track.

SDMA is a very progressive club , with a lot more wonderful innovations in the pipeline , made happen by a dedicated club members.

Dont be fooled by that pic. The hill is quite steep and there are alot of incline and declines along the track to keep you on your toes.....

JoJo, I checked the SDMA website and it looks like you ended up staying???? The last couple of laps were pretty good considering the way the car was driving. I got all inspired and pulled the tank on mine and cleaned it up and fixed a vacuum leak. Managed a drive up the road and back even got it into second gear. Maybe I will have it ready for the October one.

HaHa. I wish that was in my car Paul..... I actually packed it in as you were leaving. There was no point continuing in my car. I cant say enough how terrible it was to drive. It was like driving a brick with 180kw.....

I was then offered a drive in Ant's 300kw Cyborg Mirage...... Thats where those 2 last times came from..... That car is mental....

I have to sort out the suspension and diff before I can drive this thing...

A 302 FWKW Cyborg Mirage. I was a guest driver of this car after I gave up with my new AE86 because it was too stiff for this track. This cyborg is an ugly thing, but this one frys tyres so hard its not funny....

This is Justens Twin turbo 1UZ (400+KW) that live in a Celica GT4 shell...... The car is RWD and has the most amazing sound








And my new 86. This was it's first ever track event, or even real drive for that matter. The car was terrible Power was great, but the handling was shithouse. Way too stiff, just understeerd straight off the road at corners, and the car has no LSD, so I couldn't even whip the arse end around. It was crap and it wasn't fun. I packed up after 3 runs, and then drove the Cyborg for the rest of the day..
