What advantage does moving the rack forward have? Better angle? Lighter steering?

When the knuckle reaches maxiumum angle it stops the tie rod from tucking behind the knuckle and creating bind.

Well a few things have been happening with this car

bought a mazda 1000 ute not to long ago with a 13b Bridgeport .unfortunaly had to sell itwanting another rotary I decided to but a 13b into this
also the blacktop blew up (spun bottom end),turns out you have to put oil in them :/ haha

    anyways I picked up a 4port 13b bridge with a w5x box for $1300
,had it running in a Capella and got it out and home still warm
was apparently rebuilt 5000kms ago.who knows ,sounds good though

ive been spending most my time cleaning the bay and replacing the firewall piece that was cut out for the blacktop dizzy
the tunnel had to be cut and raised at the front to accommodate the W gearbox
all holes in the bay welded up and it's allmost ready for paint (silver glitter) because jdm fag

i got the engine and gearbox mounted over the weekend .happy with how it sits...[IMG][/IMG]

Basically my goal is to have it finished for QLD Matsuri

need to still powdercoat everything, mount and plumb the ASD hydro, make tailshaft, wire the engine in,new fuel lines and pump
,mount radiator and oil cooler, half cage ,intake (undecided on just a weber 51 ida or injection)
    make exhaust,etc

going back to 185/55 on the front,re001 185/60 is just to big ...

also finally found and purchased quad light headlight covers

Here's a better photo showing the mounts.
the engine front plate is 6mm mild, uses standard 4age rubbers and 6mm mounts welded on the caster brackets
no mounts of the original x-member

the gearbox mount is 3mm 25x50 RHS with a 6mm plate that bolts to the original W mount
