Haha did ya leave a note?
Dude, you rule.
I'm now a proud owner of a AE71 Pano.
Haha did ya leave a note?
just bought me a trd 2 way with 4.3cwp,wanted 4.77 but sick of waiting and the last 2 t-series i seen for sale with that ratio were over $1800!!
so get that in soon as it lands and some skids will be had!
theres a initial drift day coming up in wakefield im gunna hopefully get to make it to.
need to get a good t50 fitted before then as the one fitted at the minute grinds durring hard up and down shift between 2nd and third.
might look into getting a lightened flywheel and good clutch while im pulling the box out.
anyone recommened a good clutch for mainly street use that can take some abuse and clutch kicking?
also on the look out for a pair of coilovers to level out my ride height, way lower in the ass at the minute

You dont want a lightened flywheel for drift, or for carrying loads like a van should.... It will be better without it. I can explain why when I see you next......
Make sure you get a proper race clutch. Wont regret it.......
You workin all this week??

Nah, just looked for the 2 for sale you mentioned and found one like 15mins away.
Its a high roof AE71, so not exactly what I wanted, but window less 2 door and is mod plated for forced induction, fuel system and seating capacity (has 5 seat conversion).
Still a couple of weeks away until I can get stuck in to it though, my hilux 1uz build takes priority.
Will be going AE101 4AGZE Smallport, had the steam seals done, new HG and bigport cams, GT2560R BB, and W55 setup.
Got all the gear ready to bolt in.
I will put up a build thread when I start.
Will a Wagon Towbar bolt up to the Pano chassis?
ah good stuff man, that the green one?you abandoning the wagon?id imagine the towbar will work,i think the rear ends are the same
Yeah, green one. Wiring is a mess, will have to start again and redo entire car.
Unfortunately the Wagon is going to have to go.
I keep reading and hearing about guys being done for suspension too stiff?
I work in the 4WD industry, and the spring rates we use for towing are 10 times stiffer then anything you could put in a rolla...I really don't understand how it can be enforced.
But I figure if I have a towbar fitted, I can say stiffness is for towing. and helps to tie rear chassis rails together.
I have an old Wagon towbar sitting in the shed that will do fine.

since i dropped the rear the exaust has been rattling off the floor and hitting my shock over hard bumps which has really been pissing me off.
so into the exaust shop today, all sorted now
also gearbox has been grinding when shifting hard up and down between 2nd and 3rd do just payed for a mint jdm box and a pair of jdi knuckles so smooth shifts and loads of lock on the way!
sell me that rear bar!
