    Just a high school in rural QLD. Dalby SHS.
    We have a good Trade Training Center that we run here and the cars are part of our signature trade program. There are about 15 schools around southeast QLD running the Formula Student program as part of their own curriculums.

    Took the Levin out to the sponsors and family ride day. Good day was had by all. It was certainly busy out on track with around 100 or more cars in attendance.

    Nice piece of work
    Any idea what carb set up you have
    Chokes(venturi), fuel jet , air corrector and the timing ignition top end advance.

    Not quite sure on the choke. 36 or 38.
    F16 emulsion tube, 199 air and 140 mains.

    So... today I finally got to the Dyno. It showed that literally no head work was carried out in the rebuild. It also highlighted the lightend rotating assembly by building up to peak power earlier and holding it for longer. Torque was up and earlier too.

    The lowest power run was 158 rwhp and peak was 165. At 9200 the hp was still up in the mid 150 mark but torque ha seriously diminished.

    It has been a busy family year and not a lot of racing unfortunately. There has been some developmet work (a new adj panhard for 1) and found a couple of gremlins. 1 easilt fixed, the other will take some time and is often the case... a whack of $$$

    Back on the dyno I noticed the passenger rear wheel had quite the wiggle! The axel was bent. I found an offroad suspension and driveline specialist who were awesome to deal with and did a superb job fixing it.

    While it was appart I took the opportunity to put the new MRP diff gears in, 4.89:1 and swap over to the Albins close ratio 1,2,3 box. It worked beautifully on the track at Morgan Park for a test day before taking it Leyburn historics. The ratios were not so perfect there. The video is proof to that but still good enough to win under 2l special interest class and 43rd out of 211ish entries.

    Next was a lakeside test a few weeks ago... on the third lap, going into the kink, the loud pedal went dead. The turbo xr6 and R33 were no longer holding me up. There was no restarting the 4a. A compression test showed little if and compression in cyl 2 or 3. This is the second gremlin.

    Expecting to fing a blown gasket from 2-3 i found a good intact head gasket and a damaged bore? There is heavy scoring and signs the ring lands are damaged. I have some theories but next week I will pull the bottom end out and strip it down to get a more detaild look at the damage.
