do you mean the caliper wont fit over the pads?
I just got some RDA front brake pads (part number DB322) which i have checked are ADM type and whent to put them in my 86 ADM calipers and the rotor wont fit due to them being about 1cm too fat? and yes its a solid ADM rotor. anyone had this problem with RDA brake pads? or have i got the wrong info and got JDM ones?

Measure your rotor, Jdm is 18mm thick
Just asking the stupid question, but you have pushed the piston back into the caliper before mounting the new pads haven't you?
you have jdm ones
you need db398

They can't be JDM if they're solid, fronts are vented.
Either you ordered them wrong or someone has stuffed up. GSL Rallysport will have what you need and they have free delivery, although the GC might be out of range, but I'd give them a buzz if you need to source new rotors.
