Hahaha this is awesome! Dont give up, she might give in eventually.

Lol so now you are running a 7age? too funny. Argue the fuel economy of a 7agte is much better and whilst it is only a small investment now, it will be cost neutral in 12 months.
Haha I like your way of thinking. You could have a solid career in relationship espionage. I was going to just crack one of my header pipes.
Funniest thing l have read in a while. You could try the Fuel efficiency angle see if she buys that

Bit silly elaborating on the loophole. She probably reads this thread now.
Maybe make a fake thread as a decoy and we'll make a password locked thread for you.

Ancient thread revival!
Because of Facebook and other social media I haven't been active on here for years. I've recently deleted Facebook and most other junk so I started lurking on here again. Update on the sitch goes like this. Bought a house, built a garage and workshop and became less pathetic cause I can do whatever I want to the car now. After selling off the 7age I turbo'd a gze and started drifting it.
Then I killed the engine. I wasn't even doing anything cool, it happened on the way home from getting a wheel alignment. It was two days before winter matsuri and I was super pissed so I ripped out the motor and threw it in the bin.
That inspired me to give it a bit of an overhaul. Car now has a weld in halfcage, Shockworks, adjustable lower control arms and a bunch of other suspension and steering mods. I liked having a turbo but hated the lag so have decided to go back to na. Exterior still looks ghetto.
But I tidied up the bay
Then started the new conversion
The beams is pretty much stock internals but has been setup for turbo as far as modifying the water and oil lines so if I decide I want more power down the track it's not that hard. I'm waiting for a few more parts to arrive (koyorad, link ecu) then it's full steam ahead to get it finished before the driftx event in December. It would normally be heaps of time but I'm off to Japan in October/November for five weeks so it's a pretty tight deadline. Fingers crossed.
Lookin great! Good to hear ya kept at it and don't have to hide so much anymore
Lookin forward to sein updates!
