That's pretty cool
Hi all,
I am now in a position to finish my 70 properly.
The engine was originally built for improved production racing. When I bought it from the guy who bought it from the original owner it had a cracked 3K head.
Original Specs:
5k block, 4age pistons and rods, 3k head, 14.5:1 comp, Kawasaki GPZ1100 Quad Throttle Body Injection, Haltech Computer and harness, Electronic Ignition, Fully Balanced, oil cooler and hoses and fittings, Race Extractors.New Stage 4 CamTech Race cam (3500-7500 rpm)
My specs after my first build:
5k block, machined 4age pistons and rods, decked 5k head, Holley 180 downdraught single carb, Fully Balanced, Race Extractors, New Stage 4 CamTech Race cam (3500-7500 rpm)
I still have the motorbike quad throttle body setup once I get the engine running nicely first.
Car specs:
5spd 70 box, tach dash, trd knob, drift button, sound deadening removed, ae86 struts with ground control sleeves and ajps 8/6kg springs, ke55 LCA with new bushes and joints, RCAs, KYB AGX short stroke shocks all round
with my brothers old 71 with SR20DE (now sold and is turbo)

It will be better when the engine works properly again!
More details on the bike carbs please?
They are quad throttle bodies not carbies off a Kawasaki GPZ1100
I bought them off a friend, but they are made for a ke25
i think they are similar or the same as these
i did have to modify them a tiny bit, but they do the job fine
