Just rock up to Repco or Supercheap. And write this down to read out to the nice lady at the desk: "brake pads please, for AE86. It could be listed under Corolla, or Sprinter".
hey im after some new front and rear brake pads for my car. Question is what type or part no. brake pads would i ask for? They are both for JDM ae86 callipers for front and rear. Also what brand would you recommend taking note that i dont have much to spend.
Thanks,
David

lol thanks jonny could have figured that out myself
I guess what i need to know is whether ADM pads are the same as JDM pads and if you can fit the front pads on the rear also? Im aware that if I ask for sprinter pads chances that they'll only have ADM and stock brake shoes for s-series diff.
or could just tell him you will need db322 for the front and db283 for the rear
hey H8CHIR6KU so db322 front and db283 rear will get me the correct brake pads for the JDM callipers? Im assuming any sprint auto, repco or supercheap store will have these?
cheers

if they don't have them im sure they could get them in from thier main warehouse
my understanding is that for the front of ae86, the ADM and JDM calipers take the same brake pads anyway? its just that the jap calipers are wider to allow the thicker (vented) disc?
i remember a while ago some sponsour was selling "thin" brake pads to allow adm calipers to work on the vented discs.
once again though...theres nothing special about ae86 parts...just go to the parts guy and ask for them...
