Why?
Doing the exact opposite of what you are doing was the best thing i ever did with my 4age...
I still have the old bosch module in the shed with some wires hanging off, will have a quick look and post back here if i remember.
Hi all trying to figure out how to convert my 4age from a computer controled ignition advance to fixed ignition timing using a old skool ignition moduel. I found this,
But my wire colors and number of wires are different. Any ideas on how I can figure out what goes were. Iv got the ignition and coil sorted its just the ones from my dizzy that I need.

Because I'm turboing soon n ill need static or tunable timing advance n I can't afford the latter at the moment.
How many wires do you have and what colours are they? whats the colour and shape of the plug?
What is the model of ignition module, do you have pinouts/ins for that?
Green, red, yellow and white. Its a square plug with rounded corners. I have only the online guide I posted above. its an equivalent of a bosh module above in champion. Same pin configuration.
I had a look,
and i think the post you found could literally be about my setup before it was transplanted into another car, as my setup was identical. white to pin 3, blue to pin 7. (Bigport 3 wire distributor)
Did a bit of googling, try red and green?
Ok in that case, any idea what white and blue do on you dizzy? And is your dizzy double or single pick-up?
Better way to put it, were on the inside of the dizzy do the white n blue wires go..
White goes to both sensors. Blue only goes to the sensor with 4 teeth 90 deg apart.
Thanks mate ill try that when I get home.
