how does the sump sit in this compared to the 22r?
A touch higher actually I think the SR is a slightly smaller engine
Main reason why I want to throw out the 22R and put an Sr in my Ra65, so I can actually lower my car without my sump caving in from pebbles on the road..

Unlike SR's, 22re's dont mind abit of a caved sump, mine had a fist sized dint in it when I got it and didnt bother it, same with our dirt corona.
In regards to 22R sumps sitting low, Mackay Rubber urethane engine mounts raise the engine enough so the sump sits higher than the crossmember if you're inclined, Lachlan.
