I haven't driven on them so not too sure. Rear suspension I'm using traction brackets to get some more anti squat which I find helps with drive out of corners and Nolathane in all the trailing arms. I would steer clear of rose jointed unequal length arms except rose joints on the diff end of the lower arms as they tend to bind and create oversteer. I'm using shockworks suspension front and rear also.

Another thing you can try for the front if you find it dives too much under brakes is you can space the castor rod mounts down from the chassis by 5-10mm and that creates some anti-dive. With that alignment, basically the better tyres I run I just dial in more neg camber, I find the rest still works quite well.

Sorry for taking over your thread also haha.

Haha don't stress, information is information even if there's a story lol

I'll be going to KU36's or 959EVO's after these are dead, I've had good experiences with both before.

I'll be keeping the struts as they are until they are shagged, then I'll probably move to a coilover front end. Other than that, I will try spacing the Castor Arms as it does suffer from some serious dive. It needs to go a bit lower but I need a new exhaust to do so as the current one is a piece of shit and sits really low as it is.. Traction Brackets is on the list of things to do as well in the future.

For the moment I'm trying to focus on reliability and getting it cleaned up and looking how I want it to. Hopefully I'll have a new Steering Wheel, Fuel System and Oil Cooler installed this weekend and I'm pondering another set of wheels in slightly less aggressive offsets (From -4 to 0 haha) to keep the attention away from it as it is supposed to be a daily lol

I'll get a wheel alignment done when I drop it and make sure everythings sorted then.

I've been having issues with the Superlites ever since I bought the car, I kind of bought a set of these today in 15x8-0.

Shall be wrapped and on by tomorrow afternoon, I love the look of these wheels on oldschool jap cars and there aren't that many around. I hate silver painted wheels so I'm sure I'll dig the darker polished and black on these... Will be a completely different car...

So after the realisation that it was the wheels I was having issues with looks wise and changing to these I'm feeling a lot more love for the old girl... In my mind it's exactly what a sprinter should be (minus the whole ride height thing, which will be solved soon)

Looks great. I have a pair of those in the same size. What tiresize did you put on?

Haha thanks man, she's slowly coming together...

I finally got all of the parts to do the fuel system, and my oil cooler arrived today. So hopefully that'll all be going in this weekend.

I'll be getting a new exhaust made up in the next couple of weeks so I can go a bit lower.

    HOWEVER

In peoples experiences what are good springs to use for a grip setup? I was thinking along the lines of 4 or 5kg Front and 6kg Rear?

Also what brands are people using in this application?

    Cheers,

    Joe
