ooohhh no bugger lol what do you need to clear it ??
This happened on Saturday. Fail.
I guess I'll be chasing a tonne of parts to get this thing through the pits...
On a happier note, spent the weekend tidying her up. Interior, engine bay wiring, and wiring for the new fuel system is all complete. Going to wait till after the pits to finish installing it all, one less thing they can get upset about...

Not sure yet, it's getting run over the pits today. I'm assuming an air box, higher offset wheels and hopefully that's it...
I'll be throwing up a wanted to buy / borrow in the near future lol
Took this thing out to Barbagello on Saturday. Car can a treat and kept up with a lot of things that I thought were going to blow it away.. Didn't have any issues besides a broken exhaust mount which seems to be a reoccurring thing.
Ended up running hovering around the 1:21 - 1:22 mark all day which I didn't think was too bad considering I haven't starting tweaking anything. Some new rubber, more camber and a good wheel alignment I'm hoping will see it to the sub 1:20 mark.
Anyways, pictures or it didn't happen.
(PS Thought this photo was really cool, AE86 and 86 together at their happy place)

Looking good mate! seems like you were drifting more than anything else lol! just a thought about your exhaust mounts breaking, might be due to the engine moving more than it should. look at your engine and gbox mounts, they might be broken...
Thanks man,
It's actually the rear exhaust mount that keeps breaking. It's a stupid idea. The shop that has I stalled it has welded the tiniest little mount to the side of the muffler and it just keeps tearing. The whole set up needs to be revised...
I've got a few little niggle issues that will be getting sorted so hopefully I should start to see an improvement.
Props to barbagello for an awesome event too. Super relaxed and plenty of track time. Will be frequenting from now on..
Probably because the cop wanted to sticker it when he saw it. As soon as he spoke to me I knew it was getting stickered...
The worste part is that I am getting hammered by pits for insignificant crap. Rear seat not secured correctly (even though it's held in place by all OEM Mounting points) No rear pacel shelf (even though it's a coupe) and the indicator doesn't cancel when turning left and best of all the horn button is sticky... Like seriously how do those things possible make it an unsafe vehicle...
Nitty gritty. They do because they can and the only advice I can give is just fix them as best you can. When I got my 86 it was in need of all that fiddly shit and 4 years later it's nearly done haha.
Hey guys, I need a handbrake assembly or spring asap to get this through pits. Anyone have anything?!
