Got these bad boys coming from the motherland soon too. Feels good to finish shit off.
Cheers Ben.
Ugly bottom side after mods.
And done, bit of stuffing about but hopefully well worth it. Allignment day will confirm.
Might chuck it all in tomorrow.

Full suspension kit and new front brakes all installed, found the left inner tie rod end was flogged out during install so changed that too. While under the car I found issues with the alternator install. Poor pulley allignment and a main power terminal completely loose which had been arcing and weakened the stud, needless to say it snapped straight away when I nipped it up. Pulled alternator apart and replaced the stud, re-installed with better pulley allignment. Got the wheel allignment done today, sensible street settings. Car is completely transformed now, feels good. Looking forward to adding the rack and pinion steering in the not too distant future, but very happy with the progress so far.
Temporary diff center swap (taller ratio for highway) and rear brakes are next on the list. Then I'll build a custom air box thingy to replace the ramflo filters. The PCV line (I think that's what it's called) which comes out the top of the cam cover plumbs straight into the rear of the two filters (oiling the shit out of it and giving cylinder 3 a dose of fresh oil), so I'm going to install a catch can and plumb it back into the custom air chamber that I'll be putting on the side of the carbs. Just going to run an ugly 3" pod down low, might even put some short trumpets inside the air chamber on the side of the carbs. Going to buy some ally after work tomorrow so I can get started on it next week.
The height I chose before allignment.
If you need anything for the rear brakes, you've got that $250 raffle prize you won at Classic Japan. Be cool to see this again too, such a nice example.
I'll bring it down and see you soon, gotta get exciting things like spark plugs & leads for the Cressy plus some bits for the pano.
I've changed the 4.3 LSD out for an open 3.9 centre in readiness for the interstate drive. Drivers side axle didn't budge until I modified the home made slide hammer to take a ridiculously heavy weight double the size of the original. I also fixed my passenger door lock this morning too. Getting through my shit little check list one step at a time
Fitted my new rear brakes this weekend and test fitted the air chamber dealy I started fabbing up last week. Waiting for toggle clamps and a couple more hours work should see this ready for final install with the catch can.
Nearly ready to install. Just gotta cut a longer fuel line first so it clears under the new pipe.
Decided it would be easier to rip out half the interior and replace the B pillar window seals rather than listen to the Mrs complain all the way to Adelaide about the window whistling.
