Default June 22nd AHTR Old Willunga Hillclimb.

See an opportunity and create the inaugural Old Willunga Hill…climb. The team at Ultimate Motorsport Events has determined that there will be considerable space at the end of the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally field on the Saturday morning of June 22nd#and have decided to run a packet of cars up Old Willunga Hill 3 times as a standalone Hillclimb Event.# It was agreed that a minimum of 20 competitors would be required to make this happen to cover permit fees and track licence charges, and through the enthusiastic interest that has already been shown since running the idea up the social network flag pole, those numbers seem easily achievable with a complete field of approximately 60 competitors being the ultimate goal. This is an exciting opportunity for the UME team and the motorsport competitor base as there has been a hankering to add to the Mount Alma Hillclimb event and create a multi-round, multi-locational Hillclimb series.# This will be the precursor. The cost will be $150.00, and will include 1 (one) dinner ticket for the Variety SA Bash dinner, that will be held that evening at Serafino Winery.# This will allow the Hillclimb competitors to mingle with the rest of the competitors and officials of the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally.# Cars would need to be road registered or permitted to compete as transports will be required. An entry form will be available shortly atwww.ahtr.com.auEntries for the 8th#running of the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally are still open and flowing, though standard entries will be closing this evening. Thanks again to our partners; Serafino Winery in McLaren Vale, Shannon’s Insurance and IMS Ambulance Service.# Also thanks to the people of Willunga and the City of Onkaparinga.Entry forms can be found at#

    Website here

Ive entered the ae86 anyone else going to be hitting this up?

This will be my first motorsport event so should be fun.

They need to hold things like this more regularly, even the old freeway. Once a month or every second month. Would be sick.
