I would go 4age, 18rg's are getting pretty hard to find parts for.

All the R series engines would be pretty heavy for a little corolla, and they don't really go that well anyway without a lot of work. Stick with something small and light, otherwise you'll most likely end up with a car that doesn't handle.
Yeah I suppose so I have a 12r in a hilux and it's sluggish, I'm just not looking forward to all the wiring of a 4age plus all the converting to hydralic clutch
Last night I got a couple of things done, had to take off my Volks because the tyres were screwed, back on 13"s til payday, and I cut the exhaust out before the resignator because the leak was annoying me, sort of regret it but I like the sound, will be okay until payday, but lesson learn about safety glasses, chunk of metal straight into the pupil
Quadlights set up arrived along with blue dashlights!
Finally done something on this!
LED dash lights
Fender mirrors
Temp gauge
Slammed!! Hitachi universal lowering kit, finally doesn't feel like a boat when you throw it into a corner. Spirit wing this week and then saving for chrome bumpers, not doing quad lights anymore because everyone's going batshit crazy over them plus I like the old look!
More updates soon!
Camber tops organised for this week!
Bangin dude!
Thanks man! Carbyd 4age sounds good, I changed plugs and leads today............. My piston rings will be shot, saving for an engine and 4age is the way to go, I'm heading into the army soon, so the engine should last that long. Hopefully.
