Not a Toyota but I used to sell Volvos and I once traded in an 850 that was 5 years old with 495k on the clock! The local Swedish wrecker bought it and had it for years. I had to pick up that car from Bundaberg in summer and the air-con broke down in the first 20klm (back to the Gold Coast) would have been ok but only one back window worked.
Also had a 98 Prado that was in the family since new. it had over 300klms on the clock and had NEVER broken down! and still ran like a trooper.

I parted out an AE71 with 460k and it was the rustiest E7 I have ever seen. It spent its life one street from the beach and it was just covered in rust. Like even stone chips had turned into rust patches, wish I got photos. Still drove fine though

My AE71 wagon (RIP) had 526,000kms on it. Motor ran fine when I picked it up, but was smokey as fuck. (I never drove the car with any of the original parts etc, as I did a 4AGTE conversion first thing)

I've played with Volvo redblocks (240, 740, 940 motors). I would not care how many km one of these engines has done, as long as it looks like the oil has been changed occasionally. At 370k I turbo'ed a standard NA motor and thrashed it at 11psi for a couple of years. No issues.
