Worlds fastest Drift - Jakub Prygonski 259km per hour

Boasting an entry speed of 256km per hour and an exit speed of 217km per hour, Jakub Prygonski has set a world record for the fastest recorded drift speed.



The 2jz powered GT86 driven by Jakub Prygonski is pretty impressive and boasts more than 1000HP on the dyno.

I'm not sure how many of you have had the experience of 250km per hour, but even driving at this speed in a straight line is a rush and a half, but to consider ripping up the handbrake and drifting is just crazy!

Sure this isn't the most artistic or impressive slide, but it should be appreciated for what it is.

Guinness have also recognized this feat as an official record and if you buy the 2014 World Records book, it will be in there!

The previous video was shared on Beau Yates Facebook page and he commented "for now". Could Beau be attempting this feat or believes now an official record has been recorded that many other drivers world wide will beat it?
