Mysterious thread subscription with email alerts

Not sure if this is a freak one-off or has been seen before, but I suddenly got subscribed, with email alerts, to the Drift Fest Zero Three thread. Usually I have no alerts, and hadn't previously viewed the thread so I don't know why it'd happen.

All sorted now, but thought I'd mention it in case it's a wider problem.

Same thing here Hen, though I thought that Matt may have done it for me as I was there for the last one.

There is an unsubscribe button in the email alert.

Yep I got this as well for the drift fest thread, sent me notifications for two posts and then didnt do it again, tried to unsubscribe from the alerts in the email link and was told I had no subscriptions in the first place (which I dont)
