I stopped counting 4 weeks in its better that way
I'm guessing 12,800!
Nice build so far mate. It's always trouble doing those running totals. I remember doing one of these about 4-5 years into my build... the figure was not pretty.
4agte finally finished. 252rwkw with more to come

I'm glad you guessed that! Because it's an over-estimation haha.
Well, I kind of want to have SOME sort of guide and budget.
22 now, getting a serious job, earning income etc. etc. Time to start budgeting and putting money away for home loans etc.
It's all just trivial shit, but I probably shouldn't ignore it, haha.

Hahaha, my dad has a build cost stored on a floppy disc for is '77 Trans Am he restored 20 years ago (before they were pretty common over here)
But he has never totaled it. He reckons one night when he's pissed he'll dig it out and see.

Been tossing up whether to buy this bad boy or not.
No idea why.. comes with a parts car, that would give me 5 cars, haha!
But it's nowhere near a project like my 86.
Needs brakes, windscreen, tyres, probably a clutch.
don't know if there's any money to be made - but they're sick little rigs!
Would make a mad daily - even though it'd be a significant downgrade.
I've spoken with the owner, seems like a genuine guy,
Going to have a look at it tomorrow, make a decision, see if I can pick them up for $500 or something.

Bit of an update - didn't buy that Honda City. Went for more than $500 haha.
If you haven't seen a thread I started about 14' tyres, i've been searching high and low for suitable tyres with rim-guards, as RE001 are starting to dry up.
And I thought I better start to get in quick before they're all exhausted.
Managed to pick up the LAST PAIR at Inverse Tyres.
Bridgestone said they have a single one in WA, and a single in Townsville.

Slowly getting a few things done - uni's still going, writing a thesis.
Working every other day.
Pretty well brain-dead at the end of the day.
Fitted the tyres up to my rear wheels - fit how I expected, which is good.
Made use of the uni printers and free print credit I've never used - 300+ pages of goodness! Going to print off the TRD bible and Chassis repair manual as well.
AND, have been FINALLY getting to do the rear guards.
They're front KE70 guards cut, and slid up under the rears. then welded and cleaned up
Next, filled with a fibre-based bog. Stronger than filler but easier to apply than fibreglass
Then a skim of bog over the top, and a primed!
