As a kid I'm sure we all owned lego and loved it, otherwise we today wouldn't be pulling apart our cars and modifying them like we do. But how many of us have dreamed of making a ful lifesize functioning car outta the stuff?
Steve Sammartino had an idea and posted it up on Twitter last year to build a car from lego, WTF most of us were thinking, but a romanian genius Raul Oaida saw the tweet and partnered up with him.
So , half a million lego pieces later, some interesting engine design the pair have created a car that is fully driveable. Whilst the top speed of the car is between 20-30kms per hour, it is still pretty awesome.
Not surprisingly, the guys are somewhat hesitant to take the car any faster as lego could explode spectacularly and wouldn't hold up too well in an accident.
So how does the car run you ask?
Four orbital engines with a total of 256 pistons is air driven to propel this car forward.
