Still enjoying the fab work going into this, keen to know how much you're increasing the wheelbase by.
Loving the work dude, not loving the big wheels but I get why your running them, car is going to be wicked dude

As usual this car has a retarded level of awesome. Keep the art going...
Slowly getting there:
DUUUUUUUUUUUDE THAT IS SOO SICK, big props on the fab work man, absolutely killing it
Yeah wow, looking great!
Excellent work on the cage.
JESUS, whats with you e chassis people and epic skills!
Someone's gotta stick it up them damn S/R chassis owners! Haha updates soon people
I continued the cage to the front struts for ultimate rigidity. I also made a start on the door bars and had one tacked in the ripped it back out so I could do all the stuff inside the car without climbing over them every time, so they will get done at a much later date.
I was thinking for a long time about how to do the engine mounts how to do something strong, pretty solidly mounted and very different, once I saw a drag VL V8 of all things with an engine plate style mount I knew that's what I was going with.
Deciding not to solid mount I got some nylon bushes spun up to remove some of the shock. This also blocks off the water pump which I was planning to do anyways as I have a electric one for this.
Onto the steering I started from scratch with some hollow 3/4' tube, bought a uni, quick release hub, steering wheel and got a bearing housing spun up to locate it all. Moving the mount in the firewall closer to the right side I now have ample clearance for a large dump pipe.
I've also made dummy mounts for the seat and started on the mounts for the pedal box.
In other news I have ordered all the engine internals and decided on a new larger turbo.
