Post or PM me some pics of the rust. Lots of panel beaters won't touch it as there's a lot of time in it and it can become a big job very quickly. We had an old Pontiac that went from "Fix the rust around the bottom of the vinyl roof" to replacing the whole roof. Had a bad restoration done on it in the states!

I could get some advice/ a quote from my old man for you and see if he's interested in doing it.
