With regret, I’m putting my ’88 BMW 525e E28 up for sale.
This car has given me no problems while I’ve owned it, and has been looked after meticulously mechanically, and inside/out.
It's currently sitting at 217,000k, and I'm quite sure that I'm the 3rd owner.
While I’ve had it I’ve replaced the brake wear sensors, rear shocks, rear tyres, thermostat, and much more. It’s been regularly, and just recently serviced; and always kept tidy.
Some features from the factory include power windows, power mirrors, air con, and disc brakes on all four corners.
Things that have been added are a full stereo (Bluetooth, usb, cd inputs), Pedders low shocks and springs, aftermarket catback exhaust (not overly loud) and an Italvolanti Formel sport steering wheel (rare as hens teeth.)
Inside there are a few blemishes, which can be expected for a 25+ year old car, but overall I would still describe it in great condition.
The body has no rust at all, with only a few dents here and there which I can point out on inspection.
RWC will be organised at my expense once the buyer has put down a deposit.
