We call that spaghetti hill. Haven't been down that road since they fixed it
I found this on a map search yesterday which looked rather interesting. This morning I went to investigate and did the run downhill first then back up. The seal is good for QLD, 2 slips at present on the road but they are being repaired properly. Road is 2 lanes but very narrow in places. Over the 6 KM of road the elevation drops 200m with a 10% gradient- this is the exciting part. Uphill- strong gearbox needed, downhill- big brakes needed. This road is the short cut from Montville to Palmwoods (Montville-Palmwoods Rd). Next time anyone is up here check it out. Not for the faint hearted.

Good to see that money being spent on a twisty road up in the hinterland. I do a Google map search every Friday arvo before I leave work to try and find a road that looks like a challenge. Todays run was a bonus. Last week was a dirt road with bits of sealed section, thought I was going to loose my sump pan!! good old QLD roads. Wont stop look though.
There's lots of good roads in and around Maleny, Montville, Palmwoods and Kenilworth. Won't say any more as a lot of these are kept quiet for obvious reasons...

I did the early morning hills run on Monday also. Ended up at the top of the range by the TV tower from Woombye, don't know how I got there but lots of fun!! Anyone know of any maps that show speed limits on each of the roads? I might have to ask someone from the council. I think that would be an easy way to plot a run.
