Blacktop with adaptronic not reving past 7k

Hey guys

Had a blacktop with adaptronic install at the beginning of the year and always suspected it was cutting out around 7k rpm. Finely installed a tacho and found this to be the case. It doesn't do this all the time there is the odd occasion where it will rev out to 8k. Checked the ecu and the limiter is set to just over 8k so this isn't the issue. Found this on the adaptronic website and tried it . With the wiring diagram I have it shows there are two reset signal coming from the CAS, I tried it across each of them individually and this didn't help. Has anyone come across this issue before and have a way around it?

Hey, it sounds like it may be the bump problem on the reset wheel. You need to do the mod to both for it to work.

Thanks Anthony, will give that a shot tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Edit: Seems to have worked, will give it more of a test tomorrow at the track.
