Out of curiosity, what motor are you running to break f series gears? NA or turbo?
I am about to start drifting in my corolla but broke my old gears and not sure on the gear ratio of them but I am buying new ones and was wondering what would be a good gear ratio for drifting. AE86 corolla F series diff. Thank you.

I have the 4age 16v stock motor plus my motor isn't running 100% it feels like it restricted at low end but when I hit 4k rpm it picks up speed so honestly I think the guy I bought the car off abused the car before me and the gears were worn down already. I wanted to see if the car would do dounghts but it wouldn't have enough power it only let me side out to do a 180 and then I lost power I tired 5 times then the next thing I knew I was hearing gears in the back hitting and as I drove home they broke on me didn't lock anything up just sounded and felt really nasty.
I am suspicious that you have broken an f series in there, especially since u have an NA 16v. Are you sure it's not an S or T series?

Get under neath and take a good clear photo unless you konw for sure its an F series?
If so you should find a 4.3 ratio they are quite rare. Search toymods for more info on F series ratios and what chassic codes they came from.
